In the Know was created to solve a simple but frustrating problem: it’s too hard to find the right people to play with, at the right time, at the right skill-level. Whether you’re trying to schedule a match, join a group, or just meet others in your area who share your passion, we aim to make it simple.

Our Mission

Our mission is to make it effortless for people to connect, compete, and build community through racquet sports. We believe that access to play shouldn’t depend on who you already know—it should be done at the touch of a button.

Why We Built It

As a tennis coach and player, I’ve witnessed the frustrations of finding hitting partners for myself and my students, organizing my lesson schedule, and finding new clients. Texts, GroupMe, WhatsApp — all don’t seem to quite meet the needs of the tennis community.

I have moved to several new cities through the past decade of my life and each time feels like I am starting again at square one. Figuring out how to meet my tennis circle has been challenging, and at times, very expensive.

Scheduling lessons and group play can turn into long and potentially buried text threads, making it easy to lose track of when and where I am actually playing.

Setting up your tennis sessions should not have to be a painful experience. I built this app to simplify all of it— less friction, more connections, more tennis!

We envision a future where finding a game is as easy as opening an app—where communities are stronger, participation is higher, and the barrier to entry is lower for everyone.

Today, we’re focused on tennis and pickleball. Tomorrow, we’re building a platform that can scale across sports, cities, and communities everywhere.
